Yeah its a very good game with random generated 400 billion stars and star systems. Very accurate according to today's star maps and has a lot of ships. The game modes are exploring, pirating, bounty hunting, trading, mining and dogfighting. Last time I played in January the best money maker was trading by far. You begin with a small ship and 1000 credits. The most expensive ship costs like 155 million credits, so its something like 1 month of grinding to get there. Using a joystick is kind of a must and it looks really good. They had a few updates since then and i am thinking of resuming it maybe this month. The game costs 49,99 and has NO subscription model. The only things you can buy with real money are cosmetics. It's worth trying it out

Equals out to 60$ USD(at least listing on steam).
I personally had no issues without a joystick(my control config is identical to that in Star Conflict now).
Trading isn't all that good starting off(since that damn ship only has 4 cargo slots), instead bounty hunting and such is a little better if you can pull it off(some early game rewards up to 150k)
The star systems aren't randomly generated, but procedurally generated to present a replica of the Milky Way Galaxy.

All in all the game the game can encompass just about everything EVE does(except I'm not sure about mass scale battles), as well as allowing a "solo" mode, and in general less negative reparations unlike EVE.

We should play sometime soon Senshi, they've changed it quite a bit since january, and the official release was later last month(lots of new ships also).

oh yeah i meant about the trading when having the hauler or the one after that. 12-20 cargo space and go out and do some rare trades. Install a fuel scooper and travel >130-140 light years and the rares will bring so much money youll get to the asp or type 6 in no time. Then you can go trade between short distanced stars and with that money to buy vipers and such for more fun experience. Or just grind until anaconda hehe.

And maybe ill start playing it again soon, maybe like next weekend or something.

I'll probably try it on Sunday. Don't know the time yet, but it will be somewhere in the afternoon/ evening my time, so morning/ afternoon in 'MERICA. Haven't played for 2 months, so probably will suck at it

The game's changed a lot recently. and my ship, I'm starting to pile up some really good cash now. Got a perfect 1 system jump trade setup going. Can earn 8k 1 way, 32k back(in current setup).

GPU requirements are -VERY- low. The only higher than average requirement is the CPU. But most people have a more powerful CPU than that requirement anyways.

how much ram does your comp have? mine has 8 GB, i am wanting to upgrade it to at least 16 gb and then upgrade the graphics and processor

Yeah of course.

The game currently has 3 "modes":
Open Play
private group
solo

Open play is the general MMO setting where all the players are there.

Private group is ONLY AI, except for those in the selected "group"(effectively something like clans), so it's kind of like co-op...

solo it's all AI and only you.
