Monarchco's Hardware Hype Empty
PostSubject: Monarchco's Hardware Hype   Monarchco's Hardware Hype EmptyFri Mar 06, 2015 7:33 pm

This post is about Steam machines, Steam link, steam OS, and steam stuff in general.

The difference between a Steam Machine and a Steam Link: A steam machine is independent hardware that operates by itself running SteamOS and storing the games on its own harddrive. A Steam Link will detect whatever machine you want to stream from, then stream the game from that PC to the Steam link(Using SteamOS also). Both are typically designed as living room boxes, designed to bring the steam gaming experience to the living room, and larger televisions without trouble.

NOTE: Every Steambox ships with a Steam controller. - The Steam link box however does not.
